MiniGP Update

Well, finally we got our hands on the stage 2 prototype for initial testing at Angmering. Now this is still a prototype so it's not perfect, a little rough around the edges, but we will sort all that before production. Ignore the colour scheme this is a build it & test it exercise, to ensure the performance meets our expectations. How does it ride? Errrr well, lets just say we got it right 1st time. The performance is amazing. This bike feels like a much bigger bike to ride, it's stable, turns in very quickly & is well balanced. Although your backside is planted over the rear wheel, there is no sign of the front going light (at least not with the stock motor). You would never imagine you only have 12" wheels underneath you, the grip is immense from the standard CST slicks that will come on the bike, the back didn't step out once during testing & it was clear there was a lot more to come from this bike - once Callan has got used to the riding position (having only really ridden pit bikes for a quite some time). We tweaked the suspension & got a very nice set-up for Callan who is 11 1/2 stone. There is a massive range for damping adjustment for both the front & the rear & we will be supplying different weight springs for lighter or heavier riders should they require them. Here's the video as a taster of what you can expect from a stock production machine, although we will be using the YX160 4-valve as an engine option with a Hustle Race Cam as developed with Piper Cams in the UK.
